Man Dies in Fire Because of a Broken Laptop

The body of a man who fell asleep while listening to music on his laptop was recently found in his home. The victim was supposedly working on his laptop and fell asleep when a problem with the switchboard occurred in a laptop’s charger and a spark from it set the bed on fire. The witnesses saw smoke coming from the room of a victim around 7 a.m., and immediately called the family members who broke open the door. The whole room was filled with smoke, so the fire and emergency services were called. Unfortunately it was too late and doctors confirmed that the man was already dead.

The body was sent for autopsy by the police. The laptop, its charger and other electronic gadgets, including the mobile phone, have been sent for forensic tests. It is hoped that the results of the tests will reveal the true reason that led to the fire and will confirm whether the fire broke out because of a problem with the laptop charger. Most people ignore the recommendations that all electronic devices should be unplugged when not in use. Doing so will not only help save your equipment from possible power surges that could lead to fire, but will also save you money on your utility bill.

What is Granite?

The meaning of granite comes from the Latin granum, a grain as referenced to the coarse-grained structure of such a crystalline rock. Granite is a common cluster of intrusive felsic igneous rocks that form at great depths and pressures underneath the earth. Granite consists of plagioclase feldspars, orthoclase, hornblende, quartz, biotite, muscovite and minor accessory minerals such as garnet, magnetite, apatite and zircon. Presence of pyroxene is very rare. Ordinary granite always carries a tiny footing of plagioclase, but when this happens the rock is referred to as alkali granite. An increasing share of plagioclase feldspar makes granite to pass into granodiorite. A rock consisting of equal proportions of orthoclase, plagioclase and quartz can be addressed as quartz monzonite and if granite contains both muscovite and biotite micas is called a binary granite. The average density is 2.75 g/cm3 and can vary between 1.74 and 2.80.

Roots of granite

As for the roots of granite there are two theories. The granitization theory states that granite is formed in a place where there is extreme metamorphism and the other theory – magmatic theory states that granite is developed by the crystal fractionation of magma, thus granite bodies are the result of meddling of liquid magma into the existing chunks of rocks. There is evidence to support both of the theories, thus making them both evident and different in the process of creation – the two may actually converge: as metamorphic conditions increase to the melting point of the metamorphosed granite it will melt and become a liquid magma.

Where does granite occur?

Granite in most cases occurs as less than 100 km2 stock-like masses and as large batholiths often associated with orogenic mountain ranges. Granite has been intruded into the crust of the Earth during all geologic periods, except the most recent where the creation has been mild; the most of granite is from Precambrian age. Granite is extensively spread all over the continental crust of the Earth and is the most present basement rock that underlies the relatively thin sedimentary rock veneer of the continents. Small barriers of granitic composition called aplites are associated with granite margins. There are some locations where very coarse-grained pegmatite masses occur with granite.

Even other girls have a hard time understanding them. So is it any wonder that they are intimidating to most 15 year old boys?

Traveling to Beverly Hills for surgery

I live in Rhode Island but I am going to be traveling to California to see a beverly hills plastic surgeon. This has been my dream for a while and I have been saving for about five years just to have it done. I have saved money for travel, surgery and for nursing care after the surgery. I have a lot of friends that think I am insane and think I shouldnt waste my money on something so superficial. I told them that it is something I have wanted to do for a while and there is no changing my mind. My friends dont understand because a lot of them have natural beauty and that is something that I was not blessed with. This is something that I have wanted for a while because all I want in life is to be married and have a family. I am not getting any younger, so I really need to get this done as soon as possible. I was just told by my boss that I needed to come to work next week equipped with the best headphones that I can afford. We are going to start having web-based seminars for people who are wanting to advance from their current positions, during some lunch hours.
