Would you become a monster to become a king? Shakespeare's black and bloody tale of doomed ambition teems with witches and ghosts, but nothing is more horrifying than Macbeth's choice. Presented in partnership with City Lit's production of the tragedy.


March Monologue Madness

Take center stage in this one-day workshop focused on the art of the soliloquy. Whether you want to conquer audition nerves, or just revel in the spotlight, you'll never feel alone in front of an audience again. Go solo!

Chicago is the heart of American improv, but improv is much older than America. Learn how to make it up as you go along like 16th century Italians, Shakespearean clowns AND Second City comedians.



The Moms of Avon

May 8, 2010


Mothers and daughters, acting together! Celebrate Mother's day with a unique bonding experience- a half-day, just-the-girls Shakespeare workshop. Special price: $60 for each mother/daughter pair. Meets from noon to 4pm.



Summer Interlocking Sessions

July 2010


Take just one week, or take them all! Our three interlocking summer sessions will each build a different skill set for the young actor. Choose from Heroes (7/12-16), Villains (7/19-23) or Fools (7/26-30).

Prices:

$75 for 1 spring Workshop (except 5/8)- check registration page for early registration discounts.

$250 for all 4 spring workshops (save $35!) Check registration page for early registration discounts.

$275 per week for summer workshops. Check registration page for early registration discounts.


*Note: For all of the above workshops, there is a six-student minimum and a 14-student maximum. If we need to cancel the workshop due to low enrollment, we will give you at least one week's notice and a full refund.
